The Atari XC11 and XC12 documentation below comprises the owner's manuals Atari packed with its two XE-styled cassette recorders, the Atari XC11 and the Atari XC12. Both carry the part number C070347 and follow the same layout.
Atari XC11 Program Recorder Owner's Manual
[edit | edit source]The Atari XC11 Program Recorder Owner's Manual is Atari Corp.'s 12-page manual for the XC11, part number C070347 Rev. A, dated 1985 and printed in Japan. The cover says it is for use with all Atari 8-bit computers.

[edit | edit source]There are no specifications, power requirements, care instructions or service information. The rear-panel drawing on page 3 shows the built-in cable as "I/O connector 1" and the SIO socket as "I/O connector 2".

Atari XC12 Program Recorder Owner's Manual
[edit | edit source]The Atari XC12 Program Recorder Owner's Manual is the 12-page manual for the XC12, part number C070347/A Rev. B, dated 1986 and printed in Taiwan. The cover lists the Atari XE, 800XL, 600XL, 800 and 400 computers. Its contents list is the same as the XC11's, with F.FWD in place of ADVANCE, a SAVE indicator in place of the power light, and a single I/O cable in place of the two connectors.
