SMM804 Dot Matrix Graphics Printer Owner's Manual
[edit | edit source]The SMM804 Dot Matrix Graphics Printer Owner's Manual is Atari Corp.'s 1985 manual for the printer, part number C026248 Rev. A, printed in Japan. The hosted copy is the Internet Archive's text-layer version of the scan, 128 PDF pages including the covers; the printed pages run to 117.[1] Antic noted in 1986 that 25 of its pages are multinational control code tables, which is why it is longer than the XMM801's manual.[2]

What this manual does not contain
[edit | edit source]- A schematic, parts list, disassembly procedure or any description of the circuit. The troubleshooting chapter covers loading, ribbons and paper jams only and sends anything else to an Atari service centre.
- Any adjustment of the print head gap or the mechanism.
