Atari SC1425 Documentation
Documentation for the Atari SC1425 colour monitor. No Atari service manual or parts list for the SC1425 has been found. The hosted schematic is the Philips circuit diagram that came with one SC1425, and Atari's 1986 monitor memo shows the specification Atari first planned under the SC1425 name.
Philips CM8852/CM8832 circuit diagram
[edit | edit source]Philips's circuit diagram for the CM8852/00 and CM8832 colour monitor chassis, drawing 4822 727 31481 (PRS.01474), with the TTL interface "Schema B" (assembly 1108, PRS.01496). An Atari-Forum member scanned it from the paper copy supplied with an SC1425 and shared it in January 2026.[1][2] The hosted PDF has three pages at about 300 dpi, half the resolution of the original scan.

Atari Monitor Summary Specifications, May 1986
[edit | edit source]Atari's memo of 14 May 1986 includes an SC1425 column: a 14-inch tube, 0.31 mm dot pitch, analogue RGB input, 32 MHz dot rate, 640 × 480 resolution and 31.5 kHz horizontal scan, with the connector "TBD". The covering note asks for a pin-out for the "SC1425 EST" monitor. This is not the 15.625 kHz SC1425 that went on sale in 1988.[3] The memo is described on Atari SC1224 Documentation.
