The Macintosh Performa 5270CD is an all-in-one Macintosh with a 100 MHz PowerPC 603e and a built-in 14-inch monitor. Apple gives its introduction date as April 15, 1996 and says it was not sold in the US. Its figures are those of the Performa 5260CD with a 1.2 GB hard drive.[1] EveryMac gives April 22, 1996 for the introduction and February 1, 1997 for the discontinuation, lists order number M4796J/A, and says it was sold in Asia and Europe.[2] Apple's Service Source for the 5260 and 5280 covers the same hardware as the Power Macintosh 5260/100.[3] Apple's technical specifications give 8 MB as the minimum RAM; the Service Source gives 16 MB for the whole family.[1]
