The Macintosh Performa 577 is an all-in-one personal computer released on February 2, 1994, as part of Apple's consumer-oriented Performa line. The Performa 577 is a rebrand of the LC 575 with a larger hard drive, featuring a 33 MHz Motorola 68LC040 processor, built-in 14-inch Sony Trinitron color display, and bundled consumer software.[1]

The Performa 577 uses the same logic board and chassis as the Macintosh LC 575, differing only in storage capacity and bundled software:

  • Processor: Motorola 68LC040 @ 33 MHz (no FPU)
  • RAM: 5 MB (4 MB soldered + 1 MB SIMM), expandable to 36 MB
  • Storage: 320 MB SCSI hard drive
  • Optical: 2X CD-ROM drive

  • Display: 14" Sony Trinitron CRT (640ร—480, 256 colors standard)
